Abstract EN

This study aimed to evaluate the professional competences of the staff members at the University of LARBI BEN Mhidi " Oum El Bouaghi from the students’ viewpoint.

The sample of study consists of (243) students taken from the department of social sciences .

The researcher used the " Questionnaire about the professional competence of the staff members " established by the researcher The statistical treatment of data yielded the following results: 1) The staff members at the department of social sciences have an average professional competences according to the students’ viewpoint .

2) There is statistical significant differences on the level of the professional competences of the staff members at the department of social sciences according to academic specialty .
