This study aims to highlight the role that could be corporate governance plays in improving the efficiency of financial markets, especially after the recent financial crisis, which resulted in incurring shareholders heavy financial losses reflected negatively on the credibility and the confidence of investors in the investee companies and financial markets, the study concluded a group of the most important results that a good and correct application of corporate governance will be effective entrance to enhance disclosure and transparency, which will reflect positively on the financial market efficiency.
