The success of the educational process depends on the efficiency of the teacher, who directs the course and activate its elements for the benefit of the learner in line with his aptitudes and characteristics to develop a personality that is integrated physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

This cannot be achieved unless the teacher undergo professional development programs and training courses that will get him scientifically and professionally prepared, considering that the quality of education outcomes are highly dependent on the quality of training given to the teacher before and during the service.

One of the pre-service teacher training methods, that research has proven their feasibility, is that of micro-teaching.

This latter aims to make the teaching process a concrete experience for the teacher, and works on breaking the complex teaching skills into partial specific skills which will be more flexible in the acquisition and mastery of its performance.

Accordingly, this research aims to recognize the importance of microteaching in teacher training, starting with clarifying the concept of microteaching & the reasons of its use, and then determining its components and stages, and finally displaying the forms of pre-service microteaching and its importance in teachers training.

The research was concluded by the following proposals: a model of a microteaching semester, a model for microteaching program to acquire the skill of lesson preparation, and a model for skill evaluation card for teaching using the microteaching method.
