Abstract EN

This research deals with one of the topics of ancient Arabic prose-the 'Art of signing'.

It attempts to study that topic historically and objectively through Alghalghashand’s book The Morning of nyctalopic the Craft of Composition- Subh- Alasha fi fan Alinshaa, which is considered one of the rich sources in Arabic literature In the first axis the researcher takled the concept of 'signing', explaining its linguistic and technical meanings.

In the second axis he discussed the development of the 'art of signing' and it is has become obvious that the evolution of the 'art of signing' as a genre had been in perfect harmony with rise of Islamic State.

In the third axis the topics of 'signing' was treated through the book under investigation.In the last axis the researcher talked about various sources of topics of 'signing'
