Abstract EN

The study aims at examining the effect of the size of savings of personal lines insurance companies in Algeria, and highlighting the role of insurance companies as saving vehicles, by focusing on the problematic of: "Where does the effect of the size of the savings of personal lines insurance companies lies in financing the investments of these companies?" The study also aimed at proving a set of assumptions, the most important of which is the significant statistical correlation between the size of the savings of personal lines insurance companies and financing investments at 0.05 level of significance.

The study examined this subject, theoretically and by a field survey through a questionnaire designed for collecting information and analysis in accordance with the SPSS programme.

The study led to a set of conclusions the most important of which is the presence of a significant relationship between savings and investments of personal lines insurance companies, and making a few recommendations the most important of which is the participation of the State and insurance companies in savings and insurance awareness through awareness programmes.
