This study aimed to know the level of Academic compatibility among a sample of Ammar Teledji Laghouat university students (female), and to explore the differences in the level of Academic compatibility between students settling in the university residence and non settled students in the university residence, according to the test subscales (seriousness and diligence, compliance and relationship with the teacher).

With a sample constituted of 60 students where 30 among them are non settled in the university residence, then we tried to apply Hussein Abdul-Aziz Derini scale for academic compatibility.

The results of the study have revealed that the level of academic compatibility can be considered as higher among Ammar Teledji University students, and there are differences in the level of academic compatibility between students settling in the university residence and non settled students in the university residency in the favor of non settled, as they revealed that there are differences statistically significant between settled and non-settled students in seriousness, diligence and relationship with the teacher and no differences in compliance.
