Algerian legislature adopted a prior control system on economic concentrations, to maintain market balance and protect fair competition.

we addressed in this study, explanation and analysis of legal provisions governing the control process by defining the scope of the control and legal procedures followed.

we note, by studying this subject, the interest of the Algerian legislator for concentrations and his willingness to follow developments in this area.

we call on the Algerian legislature to correct some of the deficiencies-we have identified here-and hinder its proper implementation.
