Abstract EN

Because of the importance of the banking business ,the legislator has created mechanisms of control that guarantee the protection and continuity of the institutions of the banking system ,which is supervised by the Central Bank on its structures to ensure its proper operation .It also applies to banks ,financial institutions and branches of foreign banks through legal and institutional means .Including Exchange operations ,loans and foreign trade, and everything related to the nature of their activities ,begins when the Governor of the Central Bank issues the decision of credit ,which is preceded by a decision issued by the President of the Council of Monetary and Loan, and ends with the decision to withdraw the accreditation and start the liquidation proceedings.

If the supervision and guardianship of the Central Bank is monitored in parallel by both the Supervisory Board and the General Inspectorate ,all of the General Inspectorate of the Bank ,the Banking Commission and the accountants ensure the control of other banking entities.
