استخدام استراتيجية الويب كويست (Web Quest)‎ في تدريس وحدة دراسية بمقرر تاريخ الكتب و المكتبات، و أثرها في التحصيل الدراسي و الاتجاه نحو المقرر : دراسة تجريبية

Abstract EN

The study aims at understanding the use of the Web Quest strategy in teaching a unit on Arabic writing tools within the “History of books and libraries” course and its effect on the academic achievement and the attitude towards the course.

The study is performed on a sample of freshmen (i.e.

first year students) in the Department of Libraries and Information at the Faculty of Arts, Benha University.

To achieve this objective, the researcher designed a Web Quest strategy in addition to examining the educational achievement of this unit as well as measuring the attitude towards the “History of Books and Libraries” Course.

The samples were given a test before and after the course.

The results showed significant statistical marks in the test given after the course, which indicates the importance of the Web Quest strategy in developing the educational achievement and the attitudes towards the course.
