Abstract EN

This research " Recruiting the mask in the poetry of Abdul Rahim Omar" is based on the study of employment of mask in the poetry of Abdul Rahim's Omar who is consideted on of the most important pillars of innovation in modern Jordanian poetry.

He was one of those poets who started to portrait the poem rather based on new modern poetry techniques such as controversy, employment of legend and symbolism and masque and persona ...etc.

It was tried in the research to trace the reasons behind the poetry masque in the modern poetry for modern Arab poets and exploring the poems having the poetry masque technique of poet Abdul Rahim Omar highlighting the relation between the masque and poem's duality within a framework of an analysis that shows the controversy between the masque's voice and the poet's ego.
