Abstract: Allah has endowed the human soul with the love of beauty and makeup, and this kind of love is more evident in women than in men because of their nature and their interest in beauty.

As a result of this strong desire and active quest for beauty, cosmetic business became profitable and many investors have competed in this field.

In addition, many women’s beauty shops were established to offer the state-of-the-art cosmetic products manufactured by experts in this field.

The importing of beauty products have been exaggerated by some investors as they introduced things that do not fall within their specialties such as laser and skin-care devices as well as medical treatments which lie within the scope of healthcare centers.

Thus, the government has worked intensively to monitor women’s beauty shops, and issued a list of requirements to operate these shops and established penalties if violated.

Moreover, the government worked on raising awareness and educating the community by announcing several warnings of non-compliant cosmetic products which are harmful to people.

This research aims to track the violations at women’s beauty shops and investigate the efforts exerted by the government to prevent them.
