Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the level of ambition and its relationship with the education college students’ achievement motivation in Al-Baha University.To achieve this goal, the researcher uses the descriptive approach, and the sample of the study consists of (140) students from the college of education in bachelor stage.

The study consists of two metrics tools which are developed by the researcher: the level of ambition scale and the achievement motivation scale.

The results of this study show that the level of ambition and achievement motivation among students is high.

Results also reveal that there is a positive statistically significant correlation between the level of ambition and the students’ achievement motivation.

Besides, there are significant statistical differences between the average scores of high and low level of ambition students in achievement motivation in favor of high level of ambition.

In the light of these findings, the researcher recommends to invest this high level of ambition and achievement motivation among students to increase the psychological, social and academic adjustment.
