Abstract EN

The present study aimed to reveal the relationship between academic motivation and time management skills among students of the Northern Border University (NBU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It also aimed to discover the predictability of academic motivation through time management skills.

The study sample consisted of 488 students: 260 male and 228 female students from the faculties of education and arts, medicine, medical science, engineering, and business administration.

The two researchers designed and used a time management skills scale, and an academic motivation scale.

Data were analyzed by T-test of independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis.

The study results showed that there were statistically significant differences between mean scores of high and low academic motivation students and time management skills of students for the benefit of high academic motivation students.

Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of NBU students in time management skills, as well as in academic motivation.

Academic motivation could be predicted through time management skills.
