Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the causes of the collapse of oil prices for 2014 and the impact of this decline on the countries producing and importing it, although their impact is limited in the rate of economic growth.

the study found that the lack of stability in world oil prices is due to many factors, including economic factors, geopolitical factors.

as all these factors have played an important role in determining the world price of oil, due to high oil prices on a series of economic, social and political consequences.

there fore, the study recommended a number of recommendations that the most important leaves determine the price of oil to the law of supply and demand and strive to achieve some stability in oil prices at the global level, and requires Algeria and OPEC to work on oil prices to a basket of currencies, not only the us dollar, this positioned to avoid the devaluation of the dollar against other currencies.
