Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to highlight and determine the correlation and influence relationship between the independent variable "knowledge management" with its dimensions (knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge distribution, application of knowledge, information and communication technology pillar) and the dependent variable "competency development".the study was based on the analytical descriptive approach.

after the presentation of the theoretical side of the research topic, a field study was conducted at one of the national institutions, "cement company SCIBS " , where the questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection, and its data was processed through the statistical program SPSS v (22).

the study reached a number of results, the most important of which is the existence of a statistically significant impact of the knowledge management process on the development of competencies.
