Abstract EN

The study aimed at analyzing the reality of the application of knowledge management at Tabuk university by studying the level of knowledge generation process، storing knowledge، application of knowledge، dissemination and distribution of knowledge، and the obstacles facing the exchange of knowledge.

the study used the analytical and descriptive method as a tool of study.

the study concluded that the reality of the application of knowledge management processes is medium.

the most important obstacles to the application of knowledge management are the lack of time allocated for knowledge sharing، the lack of awareness of the concept of knowledge management among university employees، .

the study recommended the need to allocate more time and using different methods to share knowledge، and to hold training courses in order to spread knowledge management among university employees، and also to work on documenting implicit knowledge and avoid relying on paper documents as a means of storing knowledge.
