Abstract EN

The fast population growth is considered one of the principale problems and obstacles for economic and social development policies in almost countries of the world.

instead of other developing countries; Algeria recognizes a great population growth، which implicates on government a huge challenges to tackle this increase، it also necessitates a study and analysis of population conjuncture.

this research paper falls within the context of determining the extent of the population growth problem in Algeria، and what could result in as negative implications on economic development efforts، in order to have recommendations on this subject.

descriptive and analysis methodology were used in an attempt to identify the implications which could result from population growth in Algeria.

the main result found by the study is the absence of population growth level harmony with economic development requirements an Algeria.
