This study was elaborated to find out the state of El-Beheira Governorate soils, and determine their suitability for agriculture practices.

It is objected to raise the soil productivity and maintain it from deterioration.

The researcher relied on a group of global standards and indicators to evaluation the state of El-Beheira Governorate soils, including the degree of (pH) indicates soil acidity and alkalinity of the study area, The Electrical conductivity (EC) was measured to determine salinity level, according to the US Department of Agriculture 1998, Analyses of obtained results, concerning soil degradation, is based on Morgan,(1993), also used capability index is referred to (Sys, 1979, Sys and Verheye, 1978) to evaluate the soil suitability for agriculture.
