Abstract EN

The Educational reform is one of the necessities of the comprehensive renaissance witnessed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the launch of its Vision 2030.

The 2030 Vision focuses educationally on the efficiency of the teacher and the importance of professional development provided.

Therefore, the present research aims at identifying the description of the action research course required for preschool teachers program towards obtaining their Bachelor of Education degree.

In addition, the research aims at exploring the students’ attitude towards of the course, in addition to providing an evaluation of the action researches students have produced, and their affect towards improving the educational process in preschools in the light of the Vision 2030.

The research sample consisted of (n= 170) female students in the preschool department at the Faculty of Education - Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.

The research tools used are (course descriptions - course books and resources - criteria used to evaluate students action research produced (prepared by the researchers), student action research, questionnaire on student teachers opinion of the course (prepared by the researchers), student teachers assessment of the course using the official UD Quest questionnaire, and the final course report prepared by the faculty members teaching the course.

The results of the research revealed the importance of providing a course on Action Research to the students in the Faculty of Education, especially that it positively impacted student teachers ability to improve, develop, and upgrade the educational process.
