Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the attitudes of the female students of faculty of education for women in Baghdad University towards the phenomenon of street children and the differences in variable factor with different major and the educational level.

The study sample consisted of (200) female students on whom questionnaire composed of (40) items were applied after verifying its objective and steadiness.

The result indicated that the attitudes of the female students of faculty of education for girls in Baghdad University toward the phenomenon of street children are negative and there are no significant differences according to the variable of major and there are differences in the variable of grade toward the phenomenon of street children for the final stage.

According to the results, the researcher recommends that attitudes of students towards social and educational values should be supported and modified the students’ negative concepts and values.

Finally the researchers suggested studying the attitudes toward the phenomenon of street children with other variable.
