Abstract EN

The auditory impairment affects both working memory represented by phonological loop and articulation production of deaf child, this study deals with the relationship between the articulation capacities and the performance of the phonological loop, the question is whether there is a relationship between the articulation capacities and the performance of the phonological loop in the deaf child who is pregnant with cochlear implantation? to answer this question, we adopted the descriptive approach, in the form of a correlation study, where we applied the study tools of: test of the phonological loop designed by researchers "siegel and ryan" to evaluate the performance of the phonological loop, and test of the assessment of children's articulation capacities from (06) to (12)years which was built by the researcher "choualnacera" to evaluate the articulation, the study tools were applied to a sample of 30 deaf children with cochlear implants, ranging in age from 8 to 10 years.the results indicate that there is a correlation between the articulation capacities and the performance of the phonological loop in the deaf child with cochlear implantation.

this study recommends that this relationship should be taken into consideration when constructing programs to ensure that these conditions are targeted.
