Abstract EN

This study is concerned with the process of self-presentation in everyday life through social networks.

Where we will try to explore the reality of digital identities both as a social construction and as a presentation to others.

This is in the context of virtual social interaction.

This will be based on what Goffman presented in his theoretical approach on this subject, In this study, we relied on the technique of the electronic questionnaire for data collection, and on the qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to reach accurate results.

We also specifically addressed “the Algerian youths who use Facebook” as a sample for this research.
