Abstract EN

The study aims to discover the nature of the nature of the relationship between the thinking methods according sternberg and psycological and social compatibility of the third secondary level students a list of fternberg and wagner thinking methods ; « the short version » translated by Abu Hachim (2007), and psycho-social compatibility scale modified by belhadjfaroudja (2007) .

they were applied on a sample of 105 boys and girls fromthe third year of secondary school the study results show the following : most of thinking methods prevelant among the study sample with the exception of chaotic and conservative thinking and the sample students have a lack of pycho-social compability .andthere’s no relationship between ways of thinking and psycho-social compability for the sample students excepect the style of conservative thinking in which the value of the correlation coefficient reached ( 0, 21) which is statistically significiant at level (0.05).
