Abstract EN
This article deals with one of the most important issues that has been entertained by the ancientArabcriticism.
It is the evolution of meaning ; its composition and transmission through the ages from the ancients to themodernists.
This iswhat the books of arguments dealtspecificallywith, as discussed in some of the lateauthors’ books in the issue of the strangemeaning and itsrole in transforming the generalcommonmeaninginto a new meaning, and producing a distinguished new speech directed by the poet’s cultural and cognitive framework.
Wefocused on the relation between the strangeness and poeticwork, showing the differencebetweenalienationwhichisambiguity and the srtangenesswhichis the purpose of the poeticwork, by inventing, developing and resurrectingmeanings in differentforms.
The study of the languageis, for the poetrycritics, an important aspect of evaluating the poetic speech.
This aspect canberevealedin the study of the nature of the special relations establishing the language of the poem, which arebased on an organizedneighborhood of the laws of the ordinarylanguage.
One of the first aspects of the poeticlanguageis the phenomenon of the strangeness.
It is one of the most important artistic aspects connected to the processof thepoeticcreativity.
It isinherent in the nature of the poeticlanguage, becauseits nature refuses to bemere phrases and unrestrainedwordsrevealingtheir direct and limitedmeanings.
Thus, the concept of strangenessis no more than an aestheticprinciplethattends to suggestpoetry to the inspiration of meanings and to presentitintoan impressive form.
The relation of poetry to strangeness has been existingthroughdifferent phases of the poetic production.
Critics and poets have been deeplyaware of the value of thisartisticelement and itsextent in the creation of good poetrytexts.
This awarenessismanifested in many of the criticaltextsthat deal with the issue of the strangeness, insisting on the its importance in the linguistic use in poetry.
The echo of ideas and meaningsread and transmitted by the poetturnsinto a distinct voicethatgetsinvolved in hissound and toneswithina new form.
Perhaps, the poetswhowerefamous for reciting and learningpoems of the former poets and the knowledge of the intellectual and political doctrines of their time ; are a livivngexample of thosewhofallunder the authority of the former text.
Theyconsciously or unconsciuoslycontribute to the continuation of the meaning and its transmission from generation to generation in different images.
