It goes without saying that multilingualism is of high significance in the present-day world.

Due to globalization, the multiplicity of disciplines and knowledge growth, multilingualism has become required more than ever.

Clearly then, multilingualism is the key for a postgraduate who needs to acquire knowledge from different resources.

Accordingly, the paper attempts to reveal importance of multilingualism for the Algerian researcher at Arabic Language colleges.

As a second aim, the study seeks to explore the difference between bilingual and multilingual in terms of knowledge.
