This article aims to address the issue of American Hegemony in the Post-Cold War era, through a Political Economy Approach to the President Obama's administration terms 2008-2016 .The article focuses on the variable of the Financial Crisis as Major output of the Capitalist system, which is primarily American oriented, in directing American Hegemony, at two main levels; The first is Domestic, in which the impact of the financial crisis on the dynamics of continuity and change in the U.S Administration, specifically the 2008 presidential elections, The second is the decision-making process in the United States, and its impact on the Obama administration for the next period, in two dimensions; Public Policy Agenda, and International, represented in the repercussions of the Financial Crisis on the tendencies of American Hegemony towards the most important poles of the real economic traditional, and potential competitors and enemies of American Hegemony, most notably; the European Union and China.
