الآثار الاقتصادية للبرامج الأوروبية لدعم المؤسسات الصغيرة و المتوسطة في ظل الشراكة الأورو-متوسطية : دراسة حالة-الجزائر و تونس

Abstract EN

This study aimed at highlighting the support programs for small and medium-sized enterprises sector; besides understanding its economic impact in both Algeria and Tunisia in the context of cooperation with the European Union as a group.

The study revealed through the descriptive and analytical approach based on statistical data to the existence of clear differences and variation between the two experiences.

Regarding Algeria, it has been demonstrated that the stated objectives have not been met; also the majority of institutions in the sector have not been involved in the process, unlike in Tunisia, where many positive results have been achieved in accordance with the assigned objectives.

This state of affairs allowed the Tunisian economy to become part of the free trade zone for industrial products on the indicated date, while Algeria postponed its integration to that zone to the year 2020 because of the negative repercussions on its financial equilibrium and its inability to upgrade its economy to the requirements of the new stage.

One of the main recommendations of the study is to direct the joint projects with the European Union in the non-oil sectors, especially the industrial sector, to establish a free trade area.
