Abstract EN

This study aim at enriching sources of inspiration of modern clothes’ design so as to exploit the existing technical potential.

However, clothes’ design is or applied art in this modern era.

As such, there is a need to find a variety of clothes that are made from traditional sources such as Arab nomads’ clothing in Sudan; the study has taker Alshanabla tribe as asmple.

The study consists of five chapters; each chapter contains sections.

The chapter one contains the research plan, previous studies, and a brief account about Alshanbala tribe.

Chapter two, defines clothing its history, development and its uses in general, and men and women Sudanese clothes and the accessories.

Chapter three, includes design and elements in the applied art in general, it tackles about innovative thinking, the difference between tradition and inspiration.

It also discusses fashion design, its sources, quahties of fashion designer and innovation in the field of fashion and the patron.

Chapter four contains Alshnabla the clothing, their adornment, the decoration of the house and the howdah of camel.
