Abstract EN

This paper examines the impact of Libya on the Sudanese-Chadian relationship since the beginning of the Libyan revolution in the sixties of the last century until the end of 2012, due to geographical proximity first and then the cultural and cultural overlap between the three countries, in addition to the policy of expansion and extension of influence adopted by the Gaddafi regime especially in central Africa.

the aim of the paper is to shed light on the Libyan role and its direct and indirect impact on the Sudanese-Chadian relations by analyzing the factors of the Libyan-Chadian conflict and its impact on the conflict in the western Darfur region and the relations between the three countries.

the paper concluded that the Libyan support for the northern Chadian opposition forces led to the spread of weapons in Darfur and the fueling of the conflict between the different ethnic groups which affected the relations between these countries.

the need of the conflicting Libyan forces for external support may affect the course of Sudanese-Sudanese in the future of days.
