Abstract EN

This research is about trends in the use of Sudanese university students for electronic journalism compared to newspaper, applied to the university of Khartoum and Sudan University of Science and technology and Omdurman Ahlia University; it is considered a descriptive study based on analytical comparison.

Research objectives: Shed light on the modern electronic media, by identifying the causes of exposure and the most important positive aspects and to know the reasons they have, and the extent of their use of modern technology and features unique and try to extrapolate the future of electronic journalism than newspaper.

Research Methodology: This study is a descriptive analytical survey that aims at describing and evaluating the phenomenon, through the survey method.

The researcher used questionnaire method to obtain results by distributing a questionnaire to a sample of 300 students.

Research parts: The research was divided into four chapters: the 1 st chapter discussed the methodological framework of the study.

The 2 nd chapter discussed the emergence of electronic media and integration and competitiveness of electronic journalism and newspaper.

The third chapter influence of journalism on public opinion ,The 4 th chapter of the study included the specific parameters of the procedural steps for the field study and interpretation and recommendations and references.
