Abstract EN

This study aimed at analyzing the necessity of teaching Arabic to the students of the Faculty of Economics at Africa International University; those who study the language for special purposes.The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

The sample of study was chosen randomly.

50 students were chosen from 625 students who represented the population of the study.The study analyzed the needs of the students to learn Arabic for the purposes of economics.

It presented a thorough description of Arabic for special purposes theoretically according to the information obtained by the questionnaire prepared by the researcher as it was the most accurate method to obtain the required information for the benefit of learning.

The researcher also used the style of percentage method to reach the results.The results of the study:The importance of teaching Arabic for special purposes to students of economics to meet their needs linguistically and professionally.Specialists in economy are keen on developing their abilities to understand economic affairs that concern their special works and activities.
