Abstract EN

Many linguistic researchers stated that Noam Chomsky has changed a lot in the field of linguistics.

He moved from constructivist studies towards developing a self- dependent approach, based on rationalisme and interpretation.

Its main objective was to prove the innate capacity of the mind (brain) to produce and understand language.

Many researchers and scholars have adopted and also developed his ideas.

But, they have quickly changed their minds and widely criticized this approach.

Especially, Chomsky’s perspective of the centralization of structure.

Then, they were engaged in "cognitive research".

Eventually, this research is conducted for the sake of clarifying thi sambiguity and to shed the light on the major investigations which have differentiated the cognitive linguistics from the generative linguistics.
