بعض القياسات البدنية لطلاب قسم التربية البدنية و علوم الرياضة بجامعة طيبة و مقارنتها بمثيلاتها في بعض الأقسام المماثلة في الوطن العربي : دراسة مقارنة

Abstract EN

This research aims to determine the physical fitness status of the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Taibah University and Compare the measurements obtained with those of students of some selected Departments of Physical Education in the Arab World (Egypt, Jordan, Riyadh).

The research team used the descriptive method (surveys).

The study population included students of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Taibah University in Almadinah during the regular academic year 1432/1433AH.

The study sample consisted of the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Taibah University.

The variables of research were: anthropometric measurements (height, weight), whereas physical condition variables were: (muscular strength, power, speed, flexibility, agility).

The results showed that the average of anthropometric measurements (height and weight) were less than the averages of (Egy., Jor., Ryd.).

The average physical measurements of (flexibility, agility) was less than the averages of (Egy., Jor., Ryd.).

The second lowest average was in the (power - muscular strength) test compared to the averages of the other selected colleges.
