Abstract EN

This research deals with the delay of passengers and their luggage and goods in air transport in accordance with the Convention of Montreal 1999 and the Civil Aviation Law of Bahrain.

The research includes a statement of the delay in the strict provisions of language and standard in the opinion of jurisprudents and jurisprudence due to the absence of the Convention and the law mentioned from a specific definition.

As well as dealing with similar cases of delay, namely, the cancellation of the passengers and the prevention of boarding the aircraft, which were found to be similar to the non-implementation of the air transport contract.

The research also addressed the impact of delays in air transport, including the terms of the air carrier's liability for delays, in particular the damage caused by the delay, as well as parties to the claim for delay liability, as well as the carrier's limited liability for delays and ways of denial of liability by the air carrier in the case of delay.
