Abstract EN

This research deals with the concept of Islamic literature in Modem Arab Criticism represented by a number of its pioneers: Mustafa Sadeq Al-Rafi'i, Ahmad Amin, Ahmed Hassan Al-Zayat.

Al-Rafi'i discussed the ancient and modern doctrines of Islamic culture, pointing out that the conflict between them depends on their position on Islam and the Arabic language defended by al-Rafa'i and refuting the arguments of their enemies.

As well as Ahmed Amin in (Fayadh Al Khater) about his Islamic vision of the concept of literature, indicating the distinction and differences between the two types of literature (literature power and literature weakness, or literature of the soul, and the literature of the stomach).

The research also addressed the concept of Ahmad Hassan al-Zayyat for Islamic literature through his reading of Muhammad Iqbal's poetry and the statement of his Islamic philosophy, which raises the spirit, so that man does not indulge in the quagmire of matter.
