This article studies the free vibrations of simply supported multilayer composite beams.
The frequencies and eigenmodes of the composite beams are determined using an homogenization approach based on the notion of equivalent mechanical properties in bending.
The study will focus on the consideration of unamortized free vibration of composite beams with four layers [0/0/0/0], [0/45/0/45], [0/45/-45/ 90] and [45/90/0/-45].
The study is carried out by the analytical method and a numerical simulation using the finite element method.
A very good agreement was obtained between the results of the numerical simulation and those of the analytical method.

Cet article porte sur les vibrations libres des poutres composites multicouches sur deux appuis simples.
Les fréquences et modes propres des poutres composites sont déterminés en utilisant une approche d’homogénéisation basée sur la notion de caractéristiques mécaniques équivalentes en flexion.
L’étude portera sur la considération des vibrations libres non amorties des poutres composites à quatre couches [0/0/0/0], [0/45/0/45], [0/45/-45/90] et [45/90/0/-45].
L’étude est réalisée par la méthode analytique et une simulation numérique en utilisant la méthode des éléments finis.
Un très bon accord a été obtenu entre les résultats de la simulation numérique et ceux de la méthode analytique.
