The topic speaks about the setting and its concepts theoretically and practically speaking according to Hadj Ahmed Essaddik novel «Mamlakat Ezziouan» In which he starts from the concept of «the setting» which is considered one of the most important elements of a novel.

The setting is concerned with the place where the events happen and the characters moved.

Thus the selection of this theoretical concepts is based on this rules and used in «Mamlakat Ezziouan» novel.

The concepts are vorious some of them reffer to customs , habits and preserving identity and traditions for example « House, Zekak » and others reffer to modernity and progress for example capital, wilaya...

More over some others refer to holy places in the region as the mosque and the tombs of sacred people «Awliaa».
