Abstract EN

This study aims at analyzing the phenomenon of the development and increase of health expenditure in Algeria via tackling the reasons that led to increasing the public expenditure on the health sector at a speeding pace.

For, need has become, more than before, a must to apply the optimal use of resources in a way where there would be no waste or exceed.

The work on finding a group of solutions and mechanisms that could help to rationalize the expenditure and improve the level of granted health services.

This study concluded that the change in disease map and demography as well as the expansion in social coverage fields are among the most important causes that explain the fast health expenditure
