Arabic Abstract

هذا بحث بعنوان: «منهج الإمام عبد الله بن محمد الأردي المعروف بابن الفرضي (ت: 403) في نقد الرجال دراسة تطبيقية على كتابه تاريخ عُلَمَاءِ الأندلس)».

اعتمدت فيه المنهج الاستقرائي في جمع المادة العلمية، ثم اتبعث المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي في دراسة أقوال الإمام ابن الفرضي وبيان منهجه في نقد الرجال.

وتكون البحث من مقدمة، وأربعة فصول وخاتمة، وفهارس فأما المقدمة: تناولت فيها أهمية الموضوع، وبواعث اختباره، وأهدافه، والدراسات السابقة، وصعوبات البحث، ومنهجه وطبيعة العمل فيه، وخُطة البحث.

وأما الفصل الأول : تناولت فيه عصر الإمام ابن الفرضي وترجمته، والتعريف بكتابه تاريخ علماء الأندلس، وتمهيد في علم تَقدِ الرجال.

و أما الفصل الثاني: تناولت فيه معرفة الإمام ابن الفرضي بالرجال، ومعرفته بأحوالهم وأحوال مروياتهم.

و أما الفصل الثالث: تناولت فيه منهج الإمام ابن الفرضي في تعديل الرجال، وذلك ببيان مصطلحاته، وذكر نماذج من الرواة الذين عدلهم، ثم مقارنة أحكامه بأحكام غيره من النقاد، مع إبراز نتائجها، ومعرفة مراتب التعديل عنده، وخصائص منهجه فيه.

و أما الفصل الرابع: فقد تناولت فيه منهج الإمام ابن القرضي في جرح الرجال، وذلك بيبان مصطلحاته، وذكر نماذج من الرواة الذين جرحهم، ثم مقارنة أحكامه بأحكام غيره من النقاد مع إبراز نتائجها، ومعرفة مراتب الجرح عنده، وخصائص منهجه فيه ثم كانت الخاتمة، وصفنتها أهم النتائج والتوصيات، ومن أهم النتائج: - أن الإمام ابن الفَرَضِي ناقد له أقوال معتمدة في الجرح والتعديل.

- أنه من النقاد المعتدلين المتوسطين في الجرح والتعديل و له فيه منهج علمي واضح - أن للإمام أربع مراتب في التعديل، و ثلاث مراتب في الجرح.

ومن أهم التوصيات: - الاهتمام بالدراسات المتعلقة بنقد الرجال وإبراز مناهج الأئمة في حفظ السنة.

- العناية بكتب التاريخ ودراستها من ناحية حديثية.

- - دراسة موارد الإمام ابن الفَرَضِي في رسالة مستقلة.

English Abstract

This research is entitled : “The Method of Imam Abdullah Ibn Muhammad al- Azdi known as Ibn Al-Faradi (403 AH) in the criticism of men : An applied study on his book History of the scholars of Andalusia”.

This study relied on the inductive method in the collection of the study material, and then the descriptive analytical approach to investigate the views of Imam ibn al- Faradi and highlight his method in the criticism of men (narrators).

The research consists of an introduction, four chapters, a conclusion, and indexes.

The introduction presented the importance of the topic, the motives behind its selection, its objectives, the previous studies, its methodology, difficulties, nature, and finally the research plan.

The first chapter offered a summarized presentation of the era of Imam ibn al- Faradi and his biography.

It also presented a glance about his book the introduction of his book “History of the Scholars of Andalusia”, and introduced the science of criticism of men.

The second chapter discussed the knowledge of Imam ibn al- Faradi of narrators, their conditions, and the status of their narrations.

The third chapter presented the methodology of Imam ibn al- Faradi in praising narrators.

This was achieved through presenting his terminology in this regard and some examples of the praised narrators.

The chapter then compared his opinions with other Hadith critics.

The chapter also presented the ranks of praising used by Imam ibn al- Faradi and the characteristics of his methodology in this regard.

The fourth chapter presented the methodology of Imam ibn al- Faradi in criticizing narrators.

This was achieved through presenting his terminology in this regard and some examples of the criticized narrators.

The chapter then compared his opinions with other Hadith critics.

The chapter also presented the ranks of criticizing used by Imam ibn al- Faradi and the characteristics of his methodology in this regard.

Finally, the study conclusion included the most important findings and recommendations.

The most important findings were as follows : - Imam ibn al-Faradi had a firm knowledge in Hadith narration criticism, and his opinions in the field of narrators’ criticism and praising are valid.

- He may be classified as a moderate critic in the field of narrators’ criticism and praising, in which he had a clear scientific approach.

- He adopted four ranks in narrators praising and three ones in criticism.

The most important recommendations were as follows : - Paying attention to the studies related to narrators' criticism, and highlighting the methods of imams in preserving the Sunnah.

- Paying attention to studying the books of history, and relating them to the science of Hadith.

- To study the resources of Imam ibn al-Faradi in a separate dissertation.
