English Abstract

This is research entitled: "The Follow-ups of Imam Ibn Al-Mulaqen to other Scholars of Hadith in his Book Al-Tawdeeh to Explain Al-Jame’ Al-Sahih: An Inductive Analytical Study from the Introduction of the Book to the Chapter of Ablution”.

The study tackled the approach of Imam Ibn Al-Mulaqen in his follow-ups to other scholars of Hadith, and to highlight the accepted opinions in each case after a deep study of it.

The importance of this study emerges from the importance of the topic of follow-ups, which requires knowledgeable scholars to tackle it such as Imam Ibn Al-Mulaqen.

The study followed the inductive, scientific, and analytical approaches, were the researcher traced the places of Imam Ibn Al-Mulaqen’s follow-ups to other scholars of Hadith in the book of Al-Jame’ Al-Sahih from its introduction to the chapter of ablution.

The study analyzed these places with reference to the different references of Hadith, Fiqh, and Arabic language (among others).

The study consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion.

The introduction presented the importance of the topic and the motives behind its selection, research objectives, research methodology, the previous studies and research plan.

The first chapter presented a summarized biography of Imam Ibn Al-Mulaqen, including the characteristics of his time, a brief about his book “Al-Tawdeeh to Explain Al-Jame’ Al-Sahih”, his scientific status, an introduction about the meaning, emergence, and importance of follow-ups, and the methodology of Imam Ibn Al- Mulaqen in follow-ups and the terms he used in this regard.

As for the second chapter, it included a practical study of the investigated followups considering Hadith meaning and chain of narrators.

The chapter firstly presented the followed-up opinion, followed by the Imam Ibn Al- Mulaqen follow up, and finally an analysis of the related issue.

As for the conclusion, it included the main findings and recommendations of the stud.
