The manuscript titied: the Trip of Moulay Ahmed Ben Hachem Eltouati, tagged from ouled Amour in timmi to elmestour in Reggane(1213h/1798AD) Abstract: The journey of Moulay Ahmed Ben Hachem from Baamour Castle in Timmi to El- Mastour Castle(1213h/1798AD) is considered qs qn important source to reveal one side of the scientific life that Touat region had been living that period.

This Trip included a historical pieces of information about Touat castles and the about the ancestors of the tribes that had moved in those Castles.

Besides, this journey is meant to be as a witness on the scientific move that Touat region had been witnessing during the 12th –h/18th h century.

That globetrotter (Moulay Ahmed Ben Hachem Eltouati ) had seen different books and manuscripts in the Quranic schools (zawaya) he had visited or his hostages had owned in the Castles visited.

It also enlightened us about the chikhs and responsibles of these Zawaya.
