Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on the early stages of the innate art in Sudan, it aimed at introducing the techniques and methods, tools, and colors used at that time.

investigating the thought and approaches adopted by inborn artists in the fields of painting and drawing in Sudan, the significance of this study stemmed from the fact that it shed light on an important era in the development of the modern fine art in Sudan (1920 -2016) it was concerned with the early stages in the development of the fine academic art in Sudan, it was also concerned with the varied approaches used by artists in painting in that time.

this study is based on the hypothesis that the innate art played a significant role in enriching the Sudan fine art and the early stages of fine art.

the researcher adopted the descriptive- analytical method by using an observation and interview as tools for data collection, the following results were revealed: the inborn art played a big role in enriching the Sudanese fine art movement, it has realized the typical Sudanese identity through the issues and topics that were tackled by this study over a long period of time.

the study recommended that cultural carnivals should be organized so as to compile and restore the works of inborn artists, reviving the heritage of fine art through programs and plans set in a systematic and classified way in a public museum.
