Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the social skills and their relation to the artistic activities (individual and collective) of a sample of deaf students in Jeddah.

the study sample consisted of (265) deaf students distributed in all schools in Jeddah and al Amal institute for the deaf in all stages of study.

the social skills scale: preparation of Samadouni and Jomaha amendment (1996), and the measure of technical activities prepared by researchers.

the study reached a number of results, the most prominent of which are : -there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of boys and girls in each of the sub-indices and the total score of social skills and technical activities -there is a statistically significant relationship between social skill scores (emotional expression, emotional sensitivity, emotional control, social expression, social sensitivity, social control) and degrees of technical activity in both boys and girls.

-there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of students (boys and girls) in the interaction between the teacher of art education in terms of their levels of treatment and sex.

-there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 when comparing the average scores of students (boys and girls) in the three groups of levels of art education teacher (extreme to easy) and artistic activities in favor of easy methods.
