Abstract EN

This study is entitled radio programs and their role in spreading the culture of peace.

the importance of the study in dealing with a field of great importance in the lives of people is affected and affects them in all aspects of their lives politically, economically and socially.

this is the field of media.

the researcher used the descriptive analytical method as the most appropriate method for this study.

the researcher used the questionnaire, interview and observation as tools for collecting preliminary data.

the research community has studied the importance of disseminating and promoting the values of peace and knowing the role that radio programs can play in spreading the culture of peace in society.

community radio program.

the study sample is random from some listeners, and the most important results of the study.

we find that the community initiative for peaceful coexistence between all segments of society is one of the strategies of broadcasting and the state.

the study showed that the community radio program in terms of its content addressed to the community ranges from (good and very good).

the study recommends the use of specialists in peace studies in the planning of programs dealing with peace issues to promote the elements of love and brotherhood and peaceful coexistence and reduce tribalism and intolerance towards the tribe, and the need to pay attention to the form and content in radio programs in media handling to renounce war and support social peace and broadcast patriotic spirit.
