Ethnicity is one of the complex and ancient phenomena that requires deep knowledge of the social, psychological and material dimensions representing the specific context of this phenomenon to be able to analyze it objectively.

Therefore, the concept of ethnicity has gained special significance worldwide.

As for the Middle East, ethnicity is argued to be the reason of all conflicts in the region, as ethnic groups have their own demands for their future children with respect to the political regime and community they live in.

in most cases, these demands are related to language, traditions, customs and heritage of these ethnic groups, emphasizing at the same time their desire for rebellion and independence.

In light of this, the current study attempts to identify the concept of ethnic conflicts by taking the Kurds- Turks conflict as a model of such chronic conflicts
