This research paper, titled: city violence in Mohamed Meflah’s (Ramadi’s Whisper), aims to unveil the various guises of violence in the streets and quarters of the Algerian cities, taking Ramadi as a sample microcosm for this urban locality.

Violence is an intruding phenomenon that has become dominant in the streets, schools, households, and gathering places of society, and is manifest in it’s the archeological anarchy and people’s behavior (the common men and the leaders alike
