All the countries of the world are witnessing an increase in the proportion of people who have reached or exceeded the age of 60 years, and is characterized by an increase rapidly, and is a major responsibility of the governments of countries towards this age group, which need special health care and supportive environments, The study aims to investigate the reality of the relationship between the elderly and chronic diseases in Algeria, considering that Algeria is a youth country, but the study concluded the emergence of a social phenomenon worthy of research and the signs of aging in Algerian society, which means a change in the structure of disease, The fact that age is one of the most important variables affecting the incidence of chronic diseases, where there is variation in age groups and other concentrations on the scope of the disease
