Abstract EN

The small and medium entreprises define as principale components of economic growth in many advanced countries and developing countries at the same time.

During the last decades, Algeria has sought to activate the role of SME, that can be contribute in growth process and job creation by putting laws and legislation and carry out economic reforms.

In this context, we tried to identify the contribution of SME in supporting economic performance in Algeria.

The results reveals that SME have a very small effect on economic growth or unnoticeable contribution, this means that the various economic reforms have failed.
