Abstract EN

Since the occurrence of complaints about the difficulties of studying Arabic syntax in the modern age (a hundred years ago), some writers and researchers provided attempts to overcome these difficulties through explanations, replacement of certain syntactic terms with other terms, and division of syntactic topics into chapters.

They urged grammarians and syntacticians to take into their consideration these suggestions to improve the syntax subjects and method of teaching regarding them as attempts to renew and revive the Arabic syntax.

From all these revival and renewal attempts, the researcher chose Abraheem Mustafa S attempt, which is explained in his book Revitalization of Syntax.

It is one of the oldest and most influential attempts.

After introducing the writer, his book and its objectives, the researcher investigated the merits and defects of that attempt.

Finally, the researcher inquired weather Abraheem Mustafa managed to change the method of teaching Arabic syntax and facilitated it for learner.
