As a result of the acculturation with others, the contemporaneous Arabic poetry knows a decisif changing.

the most important is the japanes haiku poem.

Many poets tried to move it from foundation to homogeneisation in order to localize this new form via experimentation to give it an Arabic poetic legitimate.

Thus, we try to explore its secrets in order to define its essence and identity.

We adopt a critic perspective to analyze theories about haiku poem.

We attempt also to approach the haiku Arabic poetry to define its originality and poeticity and to see if it respond to haiku firm and esthetic.
